We’re Hiring – Career Counsellor (Education Sales)
WHY TAP, a division of WHY Global Services, is expanding its counselling and sales team. We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Career Counsellor – Education Sales who can guide students and convert enquiries into enrollments for IT courses.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong communication and convincing skills who are passionate about education and career guidance.

Position: Career Counsellor – Education Sales
Experience: 1–3 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Location: Egmore, Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month + Variable Incentives
Role Overview
The Career Counsellor will be responsible for counselling students and working professionals, understanding their career goals, and promoting suitable IT courses while achieving enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Counsel students and professionals on IT courses and career paths
* Convert walk-ins, leads, and enquiries into successful enrollments
* Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets
* Follow up with prospective candidates through calls and meetings
* Clearly explain course details, benefits, and career outcomes
* Coordinate with training and academic teams
* Maintain accurate lead and student records
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 1–3 years of experience in education sales or career counselling
* Strong communication and convincing skills
* Target-oriented and result-driven mindset
* Experience in IT course sales is mandatory
* Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
