Cashier

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cashier at Girias Investment Private Limited, located all over Tamilnadu. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, managing cash and card payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining an accurate cash register. Daily tasks include assisting customers with purchases, answering basic queries, balancing the cash drawer, and ensuring financial records are in order. Excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cash handling and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Basic accounting knowledge and numerical accuracy
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Prior cashier or retail experience is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
