Education: Any graduate / HSC (with relevant experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing, cash handling, and customer transactions at Challani Jewellery showrooms. The ideal candidate should have experience in jewellery or retail billing, strong numerical skills, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Handle cash, card, UPI, bank transfer, and cheque transactions accurately

Generate bills/invoices using POS or jewellery billing software

Maintain daily cash collections, sales records, and reconciliation

Verify gold weight, wastage, making charges, and tax details during billing

Coordinate with sales executives and showroom managers for smooth billing

Manage exchange, advance, booking, and cancellation transactions

Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and audit requirements

Maintain proper documentation for sales, returns, and approvals

Provide courteous and professional service to customers at the billing counter

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Cashier in Jewellery or Retail Showroom preferred

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Familiar with POS systems / jewellery billing software

Knowledge of GST basics and retail billing practices

Good communication skills in Tamil (Hindi/English is an added advantage)

Honest, responsible, and customer-friendly attitude
