Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist senior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation and cooking of food as per standard recipes
• Follow instructions from Sous Chef and Head Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area
• Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
• Support in plating and presentation of dishes
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOP standards
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Assist in stock checking and minimize wastage

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
• Freshers can apply / Experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and work in a team
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Good attitude and discipline

Qualifications:

• Hotel Management / Catering Certificate (preferred but not mandatory)
