Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion. The role involves site execution, billing, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.

Project Execution

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and workers for smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of works within budget.

Billing & Documentation

• Prepare and verify contractor bills, measurement sheets, and BOQs.
• Maintain accurate site records, material reconciliation, and documentation.
• Assist in cost monitoring and control throughout the project.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Implement quality control procedures and ensure work meets standards.
• Conduct inspections and material testing as per IS codes/standards.
• Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients for project requirements.
• Provide daily/weekly site progress reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, IS codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Ability to prepare BOQ, estimates, and billing documents.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
