Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the site.
  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards (IS codes, contract terms, etc.).
  • Supervise labor, subcontractors, and machinery to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Check alignment, levels, and dimensions for all structural elements.
  • Coordinate between design team and site team for clarifications or modifications.
  • Inspect materials received at site to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Conduct or witness quality tests for concrete, steel, soil, etc.
  • Ensure proper curing, compaction, formwork, and reinforcement placement.
  • Maintain quality checklists and non-conformance reports (NCRs) if required.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain records of work done, materials used, and manpower deployed.
  • Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), bills, and measurement sheets.
  • Monitor wastage of materials and suggest ways to optimize usage
  • Make sure PPEs (helmets, gloves, boots, etc.) are used correctly.
