CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator – Job DescriptionA CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to cut and shape metal or other materials according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut materials based on drawings or CAD files
• Set up machine parameters such as speed, power, and focus
• Load and unload raw materials onto the machine
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Monitor machine performance and ensure precision and quality of cuts
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code preferred)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with laser cutting software and tools

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Experience in CNC laser cutting operations is an advantage
