CNC Machine Operator

Job Title: CNC Operator

Department: Toolroom / Tool & Die Manufacturing

Location: Ambattur, Tass Industrial Estate Ambattur

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced toolmakers and engineers in the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of tools and dies
• Learn to operate and maintain conventional and CNC machine tools (e.g., lathe, milling machine, surface grinder) under close supervision
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to support tool production
• Support the calibration and upkeep of precision measuring instruments and tooling components
• Comply with all workplace safety, cleanliness, and operational protocols
• Maintain accurate records of tooling modifications, usage logs, and maintenance tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related technical discipline
• 3-5 Years Experience Required
• Basic understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and mechanical reasoning
• Excellent time management, communication, and team collaboration skills
• A proactive and disciplined approach to learning and task execution

Salary & Compensation:

• Stipend/Salary: ₹22000 - ₹22000 per month (depending on qualifications, institute background, and interview performance)
