CNC Machinist

Role & responsibilities

Operate CNC machines including VTL,HTL,VMC, HMC,HBM, CNC Lathe, and Milling Machines (FANUC/Siemens controls).

Perform job setup and tool setting for machining operations.

Read, interpret, and edit CNC programs (FANUC Control).

Understand and interpret 2D drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing symbols.

Carry out marking and layout marking for fabricated and casting parts (up to 5 meters).

Set components based on machining stock availability.

Analyze stock and resolve marking-related issues.

Select and use appropriate turning and milling tools based on process requirements.

Calculate machining parameters and select suitable tool grades.

Handle large and heavy components (up to 34 meter turning tables).

Operate and use Zoller Tool Presetter.

Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.

Maintain documentation and reports using basic computer systems.

Follow safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in CNC machining and strong knowledge of turning,Milling,Boring and cutting tools.

Proficiency in tools, jigs, and fixtures setup

Experience in turning and milling tool offset setting and tool presetting activities.

Ability to create and edit CNC 2D manual programs.

Good knowledge of G-codes and M-codes on FANUC control systems.

Experience in milling and boring cutting tools and their applications.

Knowledge of tool grinding activities.

Experience in handling large components up to 3 meters in diameter.
