Collections Team Leader

🎯 Role Overview

• Leads a team of recovery agents/executives focused on collecting overdue EMIs from customers.

• Ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical collection practices.

• Acts as the bridge between management and field collection staff.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate recovery agents to achieve collection targets.

• Recovery Strategy: Plan and implement collection strategies for delinquent accounts (soft collections, hard collections, legal escalation).

• Performance Monitoring: Track daily/weekly collection reports, analyze recovery trends, and ensure KPIs are met.

• Customer Interaction: Handle escalated cases, negotiate settlements, and maintain professional communication with defaulters.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI/industry guidelines on fair debt collection practices.
• Coordination: Work with legal, credit risk, and operations teams for account resolution.
