Commis (Commi 1 / 2 / 3)

Role Purpose

Support the kitchen team in prep, basic cooking assistance, packing support, hygiene, and daily closing activities to ensure fast and consistent order dispatch in a cloud kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Prep & Kitchen Support

• Assist in vegetable cleaning, cutting, peeling, chopping, portioning
• Assist in batter prep, dough prep, basic masala prep as instructed
• Help chefs during peak hours by keeping stations stocked and ready
• Support basic cooking tasks under supervision (based on skill level)

2) Packing & Dispatch Support (Cloud Kitchen Focus)

• Support packing line: correct containers, sealing, labeling, add-ons, cutlery, spill checks
• Ensure correct order items go out as per KOT / order ticket
• Maintain speed and accuracy during peak delivery hours

3) Hygiene & Safety (Non-Negotiable)

• Maintain workstation cleanliness and follow daily cleaning schedule
• Follow hand hygiene, food safety basics, waste disposal rules
• Assist in end-of-day closing, deep cleaning, equipment wipe-down

4) Stock Handling & Basic Controls

• Help in receiving stock, storing items properly (FIFO support)
• Inform seniors about low stock, spoilage, breakage, or wastage
• Support daily opening/closing checklist completion

Requirements:

• Experience: 1–2 years (Freshers can apply if disciplined)
• Prior cloud kitchen / restaurant kitchen experience is an advantage
• Ability to stand for long hours, work fast, and follow instructions strictly
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends (weekly off as per roster)
