Purpose & Impact

Symbionic is a clinical-stage prosthetics company building assistive technology that restores independence and dignity to upper-limb amputees. The company’s story combines real human impact, innovative engineering, and a powerful founder journey.

The Video Creator will be responsible for translating that impact into high-quality visual content. This includes beneficiary stories, product demonstrations, and founder-led content that strengthens brand credibility and drives both CSR partnerships and B2C engagement across digital platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, production, and digital distribution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beneficiary Storytelling

 • Shoot and edit real beneficiary story videos in field environments and studio settings

 • Capture authentic narratives for CSR communication and brand storytelling

2. Social Media Content Creation

 • Produce short-form content optimized for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts

 • Edit videos for strong pacing, subtitles, and platform-native formats

3. Product Content

 • Create product demonstration videos for Krea Adaptive

 • Capture usage scenarios and practical demonstrations of prosthetic functionality

4. Founder-Led Content

 • Film Rishi Krishna and Niranjan for educational, narrative, and thought leadership videos

 • Assist in preparing clips for LinkedIn, YouTube, and brand storytelling formats

5. Production Planning

 • Support pre-production activities including research, scripting, and storyboarding

 • Work with the Content Lead (Sampriya) to execute the publishing calendar

6. Media Management & Brand Consistency

 • Maintain an organized library of raw footage and media assets

 • Ensure visual consistency across content including framing, color treatment, and style

 • Maintain structured backups and archive systems for reusable footage

Required Skills & Competencies

Video Production

• Ability to shoot professional video using smartphones and DSLR / mirrorless cameras

 • Understanding of framing, stabilization, lighting basics, and camera movement

Video Editing

• Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut

 • Ability to produce engaging short-form content suitable for social media platforms

Audio Recording

• Experience recording clean audio using lapel microphones and ambient capture

 • Ability to handle basic audio correction and noise cleanup

Research & Story Development

• Ability to research topics and prepare scripts before shoots

 • Competence in creating simple storyboards and shot lists

Empathy-Led Storytelling

• Comfort working with beneficiaries and documenting sensitive human stories

• Ability to represent subjects respectfully and authentically
