Job Summary

Challani Jewellery is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Counter Manager to oversee daily counter operations, manage sales staff, and ensure excellent customer service at the showroom counter. The role involves driving sales, maintaining display standards, handling billing coordination, and ensuring smooth customer flow.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the jewellery sales counter.

Assist customers with product selection, pricing, schemes, and offers.

Supervise and guide Sales Executives at the counter.

Ensure proper product display, tagging, and stock availability at the counter.

Coordinate with the billing, accounts, and inventory teams.

Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally.

Achieve counter-level sales targets and contribute to showroom performance.

Ensure compliance with company policies, security norms, and SOPs.

Maintain accurate records for sales, orders, and customer details.

Support branch management in daily reporting and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Any graduate / diploma (preferred).

Strong product knowledge in gold, diamond, silver, and jewellery schemes.

Excellent communication and customer handling skills.

Leadership ability to manage and motivate counter staff.

Basic computer knowledge (billing software, MS Excel).

Languages Preferred:

Tamil (mandatory)

English & Hindi (added advantage)

Experience

3–6 years of experience in jewellery retail sales.

Minimum 1–2 years in a senior role such as Counter In-Charge / Senior Sales Executive.
