Job Description:
The Product Owner in the healthcare domain is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering product features that enhance patient care, streamline healthcare operations, and support organizational objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between clinical stakeholders, regulatory teams, and software development groups to ensure all requirements are clearly understood and implemented in compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in healthcare technology, a deep understanding of medical workflows, and a passion for improving health outcomes through digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Healthcare Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own and maintain a product roadmap aligned with healthcare regulations, business goals, and patient safety standards.
Translate clinical and operational strategies into actionable product features and enhancements.
Collaborate with healthcare leadership to identify opportunities for long-term product growth and innovation.
Develop clear, concise user stories and requirements with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Continuously groom and prioritize the backlog based on clinical value, regulatory urgency, and business needs.
Facilitate communication between business, clinical, and technical teams to clarify expectations and ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of healthcare processes, EHR/EMR systems, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
Hands-on experience in agile product development environments.
Ability to translate complex clinical and operational needs into actionable software requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
Understanding of data modeling concepts and data architecture fundamentals
Ability to write and interpret SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Nice to have exposure to Membership Enrolment & Payment System.
