Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended specifications and user needs. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of projects by delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in application development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Maximo. - Experience with application lifecycle management tools. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively. - Familiarity with integration techniques for various software applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in IBM Maximo. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
