Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support organizational goals. You will also participate in testing and refining applications to enhance user experience and efficiency, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve your contributions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the documentation of application specifications and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical insights.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase.
o Design, develop, and maintain Essbase cubes and Hyperion Planning applications.
o Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
o Optimize Essbase calculations, data loads, and reporting for performance and accuracy.
o Manage metadata, business rules, and security within Hyperion Planning.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Essbase and Hyperion Planning environments.
o Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for planning and reporting processes.
o Participate in upgrades, migrations, and integration projects involving EPM systems.

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Hyperion Analytic Applications.
o Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other Oracle EPM modules.
o Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., MaxL, SQL) and integration with ERP systems.
o Experience in managing GL data work flows for actuals/forecast/planning


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
