Summary: This role is focused on manual and automation testing across web, mobile, and API layers, ensuring quality for Adobe Experience Cloud applications, clickstream, customer journeys, and integrations. We are seeking a detail-driven and hands-on Cross-Platform QA Engineer to ensure consistent quality, performance, and compliance across the digital experience ecosystem. This includes web applications, mobile-responsive sites, APIs, and CMS-driven platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, and related Adobe modules.The ideal candidate has experience in both manual and automation testing and can own the QA lifecycle—from requirement validation and test strategy definition to execution, defect triage, and release sign-off across multiple browsers, devices, and Adobe-driven touchpoints. Roles & Responsibilities: - Analyze functional and technical requirements to create comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and acceptance criteria for Adobe implementations. - Perform cross-platform testing across desktop, mobile, tablets, and major browsers using tools such as BrowserStack, Perfecto or Sauce Labs. - Execute functional, regression, integration, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and UAT testing for Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. - Build, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Observepoint, Selenium WebDriver or Playwright. - Validate content rendering, personalization logic, customer journey flows, and offer delivery across Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Target, and related modules. - Perform API and integration testing using Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or cURL to validate AEP ingestion, AJO events, and destination integrations. - Validate Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) data flows, XDM payloads, identity stitching, and audience qualification using AEP UI, Profile Viewer, Postman API and AEP Query Service. - Validate analytics, tagging, and tracking using Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, Omnibug, and Adobe Assurance. - Perform cross-browser/device validation and content QA using BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest. - Support performance testing and experience quality checks using Lighthouse and JMeter. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners during Agile ceremonies to ensure early defect detection and comprehensive test coverage. - Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring proper triage, resolution, and verification. - Support test documentation, release readiness reviews, QA sign-offs, and post-release validations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end quality across Adobe ecosystems. - Operate independently and progressively establish expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). - Contribute to providing solutions for QA and testing-related challenges. - Engage in continuous learning to stay current with Adobe platform updates and QA best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework Observepoint to test clickstream data. - Strong experience in API testing and integration validation using Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or cURL. - Experience testing CMS-driven, personalization-based, or data-driven platforms familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (AEM, AJO, - AEP, RTCDP, CJA, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) is highly desirable. - Proficiency in cross-browser and cross-device testing tools such as Perfecto, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest. - Familiarity with analytics and tag validation tools: Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, Omnibug, Adobe Assurance. - Solid understanding of browser developer tool. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint QA planning, and story-level estimation. - Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills for effective defect reporting and triaging. - Experience using test and defect management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray. Additional Information: - 4–8 years of QA experience across web, mobile, and API layers. - Strong understanding of manual testing techniques, including test design, exploratory testing, and regression planning. - Any other recognized QA certification. - Experience with validating Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe Launch (Tags).Familiarity with XDM schemas, data layers, or event-based validations in Adobe Experience Platform. - Exposure to finance, insurance, or HIPAA-compliant QA environments - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required
