Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to gather insights, analyzing user needs, and translating them into functional specifications. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the applications developed align with business objectives and user expectations, while also participating in code reviews and testing to maintain high-quality standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support application needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Apache Spark, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. - Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and services related to data engineering. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
