Job Description: Customer Relationship Expert


Location: Poes Garden, Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time

CTC: ₹2.5 – ₹5 LPA (commensurate with work experience, skill set, and role fit)


Role Overview


Dakshinam Sarees is seeking a Customer Relationship Expert to deliver an exceptional, end-to-end customer experience across in-store, digital, and online platforms. This role is pivotal in nurturing customer relationships, driving repeat engagement, and supporting customer acquisition through thoughtful service and relationship-led selling.


The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to manage both physical store interactions and digital customer journeys, while being open to learning, evolving, and taking on additional responsibilities as the brand grows.


Key Responsibilities


  • Customer Experience & Relationship Management
  • Host and manage end-to-end customer visits, ensuring a welcoming, personalised, and seamless in-store experience.
  • Build and nurture strong pre-sales and post-sales relationships, both in-store and digitally.
  • Understand customer preferences, occasions, budgets, and buying intent to offer curated and thoughtful product recommendations.
  • Act as a consistent point of contact for customers, strengthening trust and long-term loyalty.
  • Ensure a smooth, transparent, and customer-first sales process aligned with Dakshinam Sarees’ brand values.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely billing, packaging, and fulfilment.


Digital & Online Customer Engagement


  • Handle customer interactions across WhatsApp, Instagram, website enquiries, and other digital platforms.
  • Support digital-to-store and digital-to-sale conversions through prompt responses and structured follow-ups.
  • Coordinate product availability, pricing, images, and order fulfilment for online and remote customers.
  • Maintain consistent service quality across all customer touchpoints—physical and digital.



Customer Monitoring, Feedback & Reporting


  • Track customer walk-ins, enquiries, conversions, and visit outcomes.
  • Collect customer feedback—both structured and informal—to identify improvement areas.
  • Share insights with internal teams to enhance service processes, customer experience, and engagement strategies.


Customer Acquisition & Retention


  • Support customer acquisition through referrals, repeat visits, and personalised relationship nurturing.
  • Work towards bringing in more cutomers and building relationships.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, preferences, and purchase history for long-term engagement.
  • Actively contribute to customer retention by ensuring satisfaction, trust, and continuity of service across platforms.


Skills & Qualifications


  •  1-2 years of experience in customer relationship management, luxury retail, hospitality, or premium fashion/textiles (preferred).
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and digital.
  •  Strong customer-first mindset with an understanding of premium service expectations.
  •  Comfortable using basic CRM tools, reporting systems, and digital communication platforms.
  •  Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple customer interactions smoothly.
  • Interest in growing with the brand and contributing beyond a fixed role.
  • Passion for textiles, craftsmanship, and premium customer experiences.
