Job Description
- Answering Calls: Handle inbound calls from customers or clients, greeting them warmly, and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
- Providing Information: Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products, services, policies, or procedures to callers, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Resolving Issues: Listen attentively to customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and work towards resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Escalating Complex Cases: Escalate unresolved issues or complex cases to appropriate departments or supervisors for further investigation and resolution.
- Documenting Interactions: Record details of each call, including customer information, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, in the company's database or customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Upselling or Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services based on customer needs or preferences, following established sales techniques and protocols.
- Following Scripts: Adhere to predefined scripts or call guidelines when handling calls, ensuring consistency in messaging and compliance with company policies.
- Maintaining Call Quality: Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and courtesy during all interactions with customers, regardless of the nature of the call.
- Meeting Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, average handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions, workshops, or coaching sessions to improve product knowledge, communication skills, and customer service techniques.
