Data Analyst

The data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. The Analyst works closely with cross functional teams to identify trends , create visual reports and suggest improvements to optimize company performance .

1. Data collection and management : Gather data from multiple internal and external sources. Ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness. Manage and maintain database and data systems.
2. Data cleaning and processing : identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data. Use statistical tools and scripts [SQL, python, excel] to process data efficiently.
3. Data analysis: perform exploratory data analysis to understand patterns and correlations. Apply statistical techniques to evaluate performance and outcomes .Use predictive models to forecast trends and behaviors.
4. Reporting and visualization: create dashboards, charts, and interactive visualizations using power BI, tableau .Develop automated reporting systems for management use .present insights in a clear and understandable format.
5. Business insights and strategy : collaborate with teams like marketing , operations, and finance to support data driven decisions.
6. Documentation and communication: prepare technical and non technical reports for various audiences .Documents methodologies, processes and workflows for references.

Required skills and qualifications:

1. strong analytical and problem solving skills
2. proficiency in SQL, Excel and data visualization tools [ power BI , tableau]
3. basic to intermediate knowledge of python for data manipulation and analysis.
4. understanding of statistics , probability and data modeling concepts.
5. excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. attention to detail and the ability to work with larger datasets.

preferred skills:

1. experience with machine learning basics and data automation.
2. familiarity with cloud based platforms [ google big query, AWS, Azure].
3. knowledge of ETL processes and database management systems.
4. exposure to business intelligence [BI] and report automation.
