Job Description

The Data Developer leverages big data to create intelligent data products that enable quality decision-making across the organization

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• • Work as a core member of the Data & AI team to ensure the success of the team and the company. The team is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of client’s proprietary cloud-native Data & AI platform
  • Develop and implement intelligent data products such as visualisations, models, and insights to provide data-driven recommendations for various departments within the organisation
  • Incorporate self-service analytics in data products to empower end users and enable them access and analyse data independently
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify opportunities to use big data and advanced analytics to drive value for the organisation
  • Collaborate with data engineers, IT, and vendors to simplify data accessibility, collection, and curation by developing and implementing data and system architectures
  • Document work and new procedures to ensure that others can interpret and replicate the work
  • Support data cleansing and transformation to ensure data is correct, reliable, and stored effectively
  • Build and manage permission for shared datasets
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve data discrepancies between source data and target dashboard
  • Deliver consistent, accurate and high- quality work while communicating findings and insights in a clear and compelling way

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI, with a strong technical understanding
  • Experience with Power Apps is a plus
  • Strong technical skills in data and database management, with proficiency in data wrangling, analytics, and transformation using Python, SQL, and Power Query
  • Proficiency in visual storytelling through data visualisation
  • CFA Level 1-3 certification or a good understanding of asset management would be an advantage, although not mandatory
