What would you do? We help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures and ensure business sustainability by transforming their banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model. Com.Bkg- Credit UW stands for Commercial Banking Credit Underwriting. It involves evaluating the creditworthiness of businesses applying for loans or credit. This process includes analyzing financial statements, assessing risk, and determining the terms of the credit. The goal is to ensure that the bank makes sound lending decisions while minimizing risk. Credit underwriters play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the bank. The Credit Lending processes includes initial set up of loan, detailed analysis of financials, setting covenants, analyzing the accounts receivable for borrowing base calculation for working capital line of credit, drafting a detailed credit memoranda by a detailed analysis of 5 Cs of Credit - Character, Capacity, Collateral, Capital and Current Market Conditions. Conduct detailed research on the financial history of businesses to determine their creditworthiness. Assess the risk parameters of the loan, borrower, and industry including the Financial performance of the borrower and guarantor, assessing the repayment capacity and recommending the future course of action in approving/declining/counter offer of business loans.
What are we looking for? Should be able to review the US financial statements of the borrowers/guarantors, calculate/interpret the financial ratios. Understand and Analyze the company / borrower performance based on financials, cashflow, and other secondary information Understand the type of facilities and exposure of the borrower to asses the Loss Given Default and the Probability of Default. Should have knowledge of financials ratios impact on the overall performance. Ability to summarize borrower, financials, cashflow. Industry performance details in a clear and crisp way Identify the Risk associated with the borrower / company and mention it accordingly in the review along with the possible mitigants with justification. Performing assignments/deals/tasks of moderate complexity Working with limited supervision, Performing tasks with some degree of independent decision making, Ability to take judgment calls Contributes to cycle time improvement and efficiency of the team Perform assignments/deals/tasks of high complexity and resolving queries Sustaining & Improving SLAs above the targets and ensure to meet the daily deliverable. One to One Discussion to be conducted and updated in People connect tool every month .
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
