Dental Assistant

The Chairside Dental Assistant supports the dentist in providing high-quality patient care during dental procedures. They ensure the operatory is prepared, sterilized, and well-organized, while also assisting with administrative and patient communication tasks as needed.

• Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support:Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures by handing instruments and materials.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms following infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.
• Mix and prepare dental materials such as cements, impression materials, or fillings.
• Patient Care:Welcome and seat patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the visit.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Monitor patient comfort during procedures, offering reassurance and assistance as needed.
