Deputy Manager - Legal Contracts

CONTRACTS MANAGER’S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

What You'll Do

  1. Drafting, review, redline, negotiate and close both vendor and customer (B2B and B2C) agreements, SoW, Letter Agreements, addendum, T&Cs etc as company and regulatory policy.
  2. Review of the transactional documents.
  3. Drafting and review of Loan documents and security (NCD) agreements.
  4. Develop a detailed understanding of the portfolio of service contracts and performance against the business case.
  5. Risk Assessment of the agreements through deviation statement or gap analysis.
  6. Ensuring all contract details align with country and local laws, as well as cooperate guidelines, policies, objectives and goals. Expanding the system ensuring global focus.
  7. Track risk and opportunity across the portfolio of contracts;
  8. Ensure appropriate contractual requirements flow down mechanisms are deployed with the business;
  9. Monitor, analyse, report and action contract performance metrics, contract risks and penalties
  10. Draft and implement tools, processes and templates including precedent contracts;
  11. Develop cross functional training and share best practice;
  12. Lead or input to the design and development of new service contracts offerings and standardisation of service agreements;
  13. Support specific commercial and contracts projects with customers as identified;
  14. Maintaining repository of the agreements and MIS Reporting;
  15. Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders;
  16. Review and approve marketing materials from legal perspective.

 

What You'll Definitely Need:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in law with basic understanding of contract and business law,
  2. PQE – 5 to 8 Years in contract management and advisory roles,
  3. Basic knowledge and understanding of finance and NBFCs,
  4. Drafting contract, its addendum and amendments,
  5. Contract negotiation skills,
  6. Contract and proposal drafting,
  7. Self-motivated and results-driven,
  8. Analytical and Problem-solving skills,
  9. Able to make effective, timely decisions by sourcing and analysing critical information,
  10. The ability to engage, challenge, effective teamworking and internal / external relationships,
  11. Excellent written and spoken English, outstanding communication skills,
  12. Proficiency in MS-Office, and
  13. Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
