Deputy Manager- Supply Chain Transformation Lead

Lead IMG Supply Chain and drive transformation with the vision of both business and technology. 

  • Focus and Manage E2E supply from Global supplier base to Global Ford plants
  • Drive business process transformation in supply chain
  • To be self driven and excellence in E2E digitization and AI enabled supply chain journey

Responsibilities:

  • 0 / 100 Production mindset by constant collaboration with Cross Functional Team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize import/export processes, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
  • Innovative mindset in supply chain arena and drive transformation from resilient supply chain to anti fragile supply chain
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of supply chain transformation projects
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions.
  • Develop project charters and adhere to the deadlines.
  • Ability in identifying supply chain risk proactively and mitigate.
  • Ability of coaching/grooming supply chain team constantly. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to senior management on project progress, key findings, and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
  • Comply all the KPI’s and metrics
  • To be flexible to work in multiple Time zone.

 

Candidate Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automobile Engineering or B.Tech preferred).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of overall experience in Automotive supply chain and extensive business acumen in retail supply chain.
  • Extensive experience in Pre / Post Covid supply Chain.
  • Proven experience in managing import/export operations within an automotive supply chain.
  • Strong understanding/Experience of ERP in Supply chain.
  • Experience with Transformation projects using AI/ML / Analytical / Business Intelligent tools
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create innovative ideas / Logical thinking in supply chain to transform business practice.

 

Competency and other credentials:

  • Good Communication Capability with cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to collaborate with regional / Plant Leadership
  • Experience with Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.

PMP or other relevant project management certification.
