Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and be capable of executing design tasks independently with minimal supervision. This role is project-based with the possibility of extension based on performance and business requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Interpret engineering drawings, customer inputs, and project specifications accurately.
• Prepare detailed fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings in compliance with engineering standards.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all design documents.
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate with internal teams for approvals.
• Maintain drawing revisions, version control, and proper documentation.
• Execute assigned design activities within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and project execution phases.
• Required Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation and GD&T principles.
• Good understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and technical documentation abilities.
• QualificationsDiploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Experience in utility structures, equipment design, or mechanical fabrication is an added advantage.
• Additional InformationThis is a temporary/contract position, with potential extension based on project requirements and performance.
