About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned tax professional to lead our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in India. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing large-scale mobility programs, and delivering exceptional client service in the areas of cross-border taxation, immigration, and global workforce compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead the India GMS Center of Excellence (CoE), overseeing end-to-end delivery of global mobility tax and immigration services. Scale operations and enhance delivery capabilities to support 80%+ of the firm’s mobility compliance assignments. Drive strategic transformation across people, process, and technology.
Client Advisory & Compliance
Advise clients on global mobility strategies, tax equalization, expatriate compensation, and cross-border compliance. Provide support on employment tax matters related to M&A, audits, and litigation. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders globally.
Process & Technology Transformation
Re-engineer operational frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with technology teams to implement future-ready digital solutions. Lead remote working transitions and ensure high-capacity utilization.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Manage large-scale client mobility programs with a focus on quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Liaise with internal stakeholders including HR, Finance, Transformation, and client leadership teams. Handle escalations and implement real-time process improvements.
People & Performance Management
What We’re Looking For:
Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience: In Global Mobility, Taxation, or related domains, with leadership roles in Big 4 or consulting firms. Expertise: Cross-border tax, social security, immigration, and global mobility strategy. Leadership: Proven experience in setting up and scaling delivery centers or CoEs. Skills: Strong stakeholder management, project leadership, and transformation capabilities.
