Electrical Maintenance Technician

Core responsibilities

• Inspection and maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration checks on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and machinery. 
• Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, such as faulty wiring, broken components, and malfunctioning equipment. 
• Emergency response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations. 
• Installation: Install and replace electrical components, wiring, and fixtures. 
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. 
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures. 
• Collaboration: Work with other departments and team members to coordinate repairs and projects and minimize operational disruptions. 
• Continuous improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance processes and equipment to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
