Job Summary:

As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of residential high-rise construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure that electrical systems are installed according to specifications, on time, and within budget. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a passion for residential construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and design of electrical systems for high-rise residential buildings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems.

Review electrical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

Supervise electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to facilitate seamless project execution.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with project management to prepare progress reports and documentation related to electrical work.

Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site and promote a culture of safety among team members.

Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems before handover to clients.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in residential high-rise building projects.

Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.

Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
