Electrical Supervisor

Post: Electrical supervisor for a manufacturing co at Perambur,Chennai

Qualification: Dip in Electrical engineering

CTC: Maximum gross up to 27 K PM

Experience: Minimum 5 years as a electrical supervisor in any manufacturing co in Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across the plant.
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, and control panels.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and restore operations quickly.
• Lead and manage a team of electricians and technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain records of maintenance, breakdowns, and spare parts inventory.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery/equipment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, especially those under the Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board.
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• Mandatory: Valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (C Licence) issued by Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and PLCs.
• Familiarity with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication skills (English & Tamil).
• Location: Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
• Manufacturing plant environment, with shift-based responsibilities.
