We are looking for a skilled Elixir Developer to join our engineering team to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Elixir/Phoenix and a solid understanding of functional programming concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, background workers, and real-time data systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Maintain and improve system architecture and development standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Elixir and Phoenix (1+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of concurrency, OTP, and distributed systems is a strong plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL, LiveView, or Nerves.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in high-traffic web applications or startups.
