Embedded Systems Engineer

Need to develop a next-generation handheld quality sensing instrument that integrates Vision, NIR spectroscopy, and Microwave sensing, paired with a mobile application via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to own the firmware, BLE communication, and sensor driver integration, ensuring reliable data acquisition, low power consumption, and smooth mobile connectivity.

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for a handheld sensor device

• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication with mobile apps

• Integrate and manage sensor drivers (Vision, NIR, Microwave)

• Ensure synchronized data acquisition across multiple sensors

• Optimize power consumption for battery-operated operation

• Handle device states, diagnostics, and firmware updates

• Support hardware bring-up, testing, and field validation

Required Skills

Must-Have

               •            Strong experience in embedded C/C++

               •            Hands-on BLE development (ESP-IDF, Nordic SDK, Zephyr, etc.)

               •            Experience writing sensor drivers

               •            Proficiency with I²C, SPI, UART, ADC

               •            Understanding of low-power embedded system design

Good-to-Have

               •            Experience with FreeRTOS or Zephyr

               •            Camera or imaging sensor integration

               •            Exposure to spectroscopy, RF, or microwave sensing

               •            OTA firmware update implementation

               •            Familiarity with hardware schematics and debugging

Educational Qualification

               •            B.E / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, or related field

               •            Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory

               •            Relevant hands-on embedded experience can substitute formal qualifications
