Engineer EV Operations

Job Summary:The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling electric commercial vehicle components and sub-assemblies as per work instructions and quality standards. The role involves working on the production line to ensure timely completion of vehicles while maintaining safety and quality compliance.

• Key Responsibilities:1. Assembly OperationsPerform assembly of EV components such as battery packs, motors, controllers, wiring harness, chassis parts, and other mechanical components.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments properly.
• Ensure correct fitment and alignment of components.
• 2. Quality ChecksConduct basic in-process inspections.
• Identify and report defects or abnormalities.
• Ensure zero-damage handling of EV components.
• Support quality team during inspections.
• 3. Safety ComplianceFollow plant safety and EHS guidelines.
• Handle high-voltage EV components carefully.
• Use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
• 4. Productivity & TargetsMeet daily production targets.
• Minimize rework and rejection.
• Report production delays to supervisor.
• 5. DocumentationFill assembly checklists and production records.
• Report material shortages or tool issues.
