Environment Engineer

Environmental Engineer to manage on water management operations and maintenance, including ponds and other water structures, local and company environmental regulatory adherence, waste disposal, landscape management, and overseeing environmental improvement projects.

  •  

 

  • Water Management: Oversee all aspects of water management, including consumption tracking, system operations (e.g. STP, WTP, Drinking Cooler & etc.), maintenance, and contract renewals. Validate water-related reports and invoices, vendor & Budget Management- Environmental service vendors management, validate invoices, and planning & tracking of annual/ monthly budget planning for environmental and water management systems.
  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all environmental regulations (e.g., TNPCB) for water, air, and waste. This includes preparing and submitting reports, managing hazardous waste disposal, and coordinating with regulatory authorities. Wide knowledge in local environmental regulations (e.g., TNPCB). Experience with environmental data analysis, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate environmental improvement projects.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track key environmental performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data (e.g., water balance, lab reports, etc ), and submit required data to internal and external stake holders.
  • Compliance Audits & Training: Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to environmental awareness training programs.
  • Landscape Management: Oversee landscape operations, including irrigation systems and improvement projects.
  • Master /bachelor’s degree in chemical /environmental engineering.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the field of environmental management, including operation & maintenance of STP & WTP, regulatory compliance of manufacturing facilities.
  • Excellent communication and management skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication to articulate strategies and advocate for initiatives
