Key Responsibilities

Collections & Receivables

• Follow up with customers, dealers, and distributors for timely payment of outstanding dues
• Ensure achievement of monthly collection targets
• Monitor ageing reports and prioritize overdue accounts
• Reduce outstanding receivables and minimize bad debts
• Customer CoordinationMaintain regular communication with customers regarding payments and account status
• Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Negotiate payment terms and schedules where required
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Accounts & DocumentationMaintain customer ledger and update collection records
• Reconcile customer accounts and outstanding balances
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly collection reports
• Coordinate with sales and accounts teams for invoice and dispatch details
• Ensure proper documentation of receipts, PDCs, and payment confirmations
• Field WorkVisit customers/market for collection when required
• Support sales team in dealer coordination and payment follow-up
• Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to company credit policies
• Provide regular MIS reports to management
• Highlight high-risk accounts and recommend action plans
• Required SkillsGood negotiation and follow-up skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP / Tally
• Ability to handle field collections

Qualification: Any degree

• Experience:Minimum 2–5 years in collections/receivables, preferably in TMT steel, building materials, or manufacturing industry
• Willing to travel locally
