Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and field-driven Collection Officer to manage unsecured business loan collections in a designated territory. The role involves handling daily EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files, identifying delinquent accounts, and conducting field visits to ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues.

• Key Responsibilities:Manage loan collections through daily EDI updates and field visits.

• Visit delinquent customers in the assigned territory to follow up on overdue payments.
• 
  
• Persuade customers to make timely repayments and resolve issues related to loan defaults.
• 
  
• Maintain detailed records of collection activities and update systems accordingly.
• 
  
• Meet monthly collection and recovery targets as defined by the management.
• 
  
• Escalate chronic defaulters and high-risk accounts to the Area Collection Manager.
• 
  
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines during all recovery efforts.
• 
  
• Build good rapport with customers to support long-term relationship and reputation management.
• 
  
• Requirements:Minimum 1 year of experience in loan collection, preferably in unsecured loans.
• 
  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• 
  
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• 
  
• Familiarity with EDI systems and collection tools.
• 
  
• Ability to handle field collections efficiently and professionally.

• Basic computer proficiency and record-keeping ability.

• Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with NBFCs, banks, or microfinance institutions.
