Job Description
- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify potential customers through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and research.
- Qualify leads to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products or services.
- Sales Visits and Meetings
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers.
- Demonstrate and present products or services to clients, often using presentations or other marketing materials.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing
- Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including prices, delivery, and specifications.
- Close sales deals and ensure contracts are properly signed and executed.
- Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Provide feedback to the company on customer preferences and market conditions.
- Sales Targets and Reporting
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts and performance analysis.
- Product Knowledge and Training
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products or services and stay updated on new developments.
- Attend training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Marketing and Promotional Activities
- Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Customer Feedback and Insights
- Gather feedback from customers about products and services.
- Provide insights to the product development team to help improve offerings.
- Territory Management
- Manage sales activities within a designated geographical area or territory.
- Plan and organize the daily work schedule to visit existing or potential customers efficiently.
- Sales Skills: Strong ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: High level of customer service orientation.
