Field Service Technician

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues, performing routine service, and ensuring our clients have a seamless experience with our equipment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Support: Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled check-ups to ensure machinery/systems are running at peak performance and to prevent future failures.
• Diagnostics: Identify the root cause of mechanical or electrical malfunctions using specialized tools and software.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and time spent. Use $T = t_r + t_d$ (where $t_r$ is repair time and $t_d$ is drive time) logic for billing and scheduling efficiency.
• Customer Education: Train clients on how to operate equipment safely and perform basic maintenance.
• Inventory Management: Manage an assigned toolkit and vehicle inventory to ensure all necessary parts are available for service calls
