Experience Required: 5–10 Years in FMCG Sales (Chennai Market Mandatory)

We supply across India to modern retail chains, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional clients.

We are looking for an aggressive and result-oriented FMCG Sales Manager to expand our footprint in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

  • Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Market Expansion & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute Chennai sales strategy.
  • Appoint & manage distributors across Chennai and nearby districts.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets.
  • Ensure numeric and weighted distribution expansion.
  • 2️⃣ Modern Trade ManagementHandle key accounts like:

  • Reliance Retail
  • DMart
  • Ensure strong secondary sales movement from stores.
  • Manage promoter deployment & retail visibility.
  • Negotiate shelf space, display & trade schemes.
  • 3️⃣ Distributor & Channel ManagementDrive primary & secondary sales.
  • Monitor distributor ROI & stock health.
  • Conduct regular market visits.
  • Control outstanding payments & credit discipline.
  • 4️⃣ Team ManagementRecruit & manage Sales Officers / Territory Sales Executives.
  • Set KPIs and monitor daily reporting.
  • Conduct market working with team.
  • Ensure beat planning & productivity per salesman.
  • 5️⃣ Trade Marketing ExecutionPlan local schemes & visibility campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor pricing & market intelligence.
  • Execute retailer engagement programs.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly revenue target achievement %
  • Distribution expansion (No. of outlets added)

Candidate Profile✔ Minimum 5–10 years FMCG sales experience

✔ Strong Chennai market network (Distributors + Modern Trade)

✔ Strong negotiation & team leadership skills

✔ Tamil language proficiency mandatory
