GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Role: Lab / Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing of construction materials (soil, aggregates, cement, concrete, steel, etc.) as per IS standards
• Perform field tests such as SPT, plate load test, core cutting, field density, and soil sampling
• Ensure testing is carried out in compliance with NABL ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Prepare test reports, calculations, and maintain proper documentation
• Maintain calibration status of equipment and testing records
• Follow quality procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines
• Assist during NABL audits, surveillance, and internal audits
• Coordinate with clients, site engineers, and technical managers
• Maintain sample traceability and lab housekeeping
• Support continuous improvement of lab quality systems

Qualification:

• M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Geotechnical Engineering)

Experience:

• Freshers or 1–5 years in NABL
