Hair Dresser & Beautician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (HAIRDRESSER / HAIRSTYLIST)

·        Provide professional haircuts, styling, blow-drying, colouring, highlights, smoothening, straightening, keratin, and other treatments.

·        Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and recommend suitable styles and treatments.

·        Stay updated on the latest hair trends, styles, and techniques to deliver innovative services.

·        Maintain high standards of hygiene, sterilization of tools, and cleanliness of the workstation.

·        Educate clients on home care, suitable products, and styling techniques.

·        Promote retail products and packages to increase salon sales.

·        Ensure service delivery in line with brand standards and customer expectations.

·        Handle clients professionally, addressing complaints or queries in a polite and solution-oriented manner.

·        Assist in training junior staff or trainees as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (BEAUTY THERAPIST)

·        Perform professional beauty treatments including facials, waxing, threading, bleaching, manicure, pedicure, clean-ups, and other specialized services.

·        Recommend suitable treatments, products, and aftercare to clients based on their individual needs.

·        Maintain hygiene and safety standards during all services, following salon protocols.

·        Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and workstations are cleaned, sanitized, and well-prepared before and after each client.

·        Promote salon products and packages to maximize sales.

·        Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

·        Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and industry standards.

·        Maintain accurate service records and update client history where required.

·        Support salon operations including front desk, appointment scheduling, and customer handling when necessary.
