Job Purpose: Head - Security is responsible for leading the site security operations in alignment with the organization's business objectives and Security Strategy Roadmap. Responsible for safeguarding the company's infrastructure, ensuring the safety of employees and stakeholders, and protecting designated individuals. The Head - Security is tasked with preventing and addressing fraud and misconduct, conducting detailed security risk assessments, and managing security-related automation and infrastructure projects to protect both tangible and intangible assets.
Strategic Security Oversight:
Formulate and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the company’s assets, personnel, and operations. Identify security threats and risks, develop security plans, and establish security architecture for each site and standardize security functions, processes, and SOPs across sites.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee the timely preparation and adherence to the site security budget, ensuring financial excellence in security operations.
Security Risk Management:
Perform comprehensive security risk assessments, address audit findings, and implement mitigation plans to reduce vulnerabilities.
Crisis and Incident Response:
Develop and maintain crisis response plans, manage the Quick Response Team's (QRT) readiness and response times, and oversee incident rates and resolutions to ensure a swift and effective response to security threats.
Project Management:
Implement security projects within budget and on time, integrate projects with site security processes, and deliver ROI and cost savings aligned with the overall group security strategy.
Crisis Planning and Response:
Identify hazards, manage incident rates, resolve identified threats, and cover potential crises in response plans. Monitor the Quick Response Team (QRT) strength and response times, and manage the costs associated with business continuity operations.
Security Operations:
Supervise security operations, including proactive patrols, safety incident reporting, and maintenance of security systems.
Asset Protection:
Complete asset protection infrastructure projects in line with the asset protection plan.
Vendor Management:
Ensure vendors meet performance expectations, comply with regulations, and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Regulatory Compliance:
Uphold governance standards and ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
Training & Development:
Conduct functional training programs for security personnel and measure competency improvements post-training.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and documentation of security activities, investigations, and asset management. Prepare and present regular reports to track progress, changes, and the effectiveness of security measures.
Brand Positioning:
Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
Team Development:
Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
Key Stakeholders - Internal:
CEO, COO, Other department Heads, Legal team, Direct Reportees.

Regulatory Bodies, Security Agencies, Industry peers, Customers
Educational Background:
Master's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration. Specialisation in Cyber Security or Criminology added credit. Professional certifications are beneficial.
Work Experience:
Minimum 15+ Years of work experience in security management, preferably in a large-scale industrial or port environment. Experience of handling nearly ten sites in remote locations
Personnel with a defence background with at least 5 years of industry experience.
