Hotel Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling the hotel’s products and services to travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, wholesalers, and online distribution partners. This role focuses on building strong relationships, negotiating contracts, managing accounts, and maximizing room nights and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase hotel room sales and market share
• Identify, target, and acquire new B2B clients (travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, corporate accounts, wholesalers)
• Manage and grow existing client relationships to maximize revenue and long-term partnerships
• Negotiate rates, contracts, allotments, and distribution agreements
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, and familiarization (FAM) trips
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
• Collaborate with revenue management, reservations, and marketing teams to optimize sales performance
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales events, and networking functions
• Ensure accurate rate loading and availability across distribution channels
