Job Description

Job Title: HR Executive for a FMCG Co at Chennai

  • Industry: FMCG
  • Location: Chennai
  • Experience: 2–4 years in HR (FMCG experience preferred)
  • Qualification: MBA in HR / PG in HR / Any Degree with HR experience

Job Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for sales, marketing, operations, accounts, and plant roles.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, consultants, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct initial screening, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads.
  • Manage onboarding formalities, background verification, and induction programs.

2. HR Operations

Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HRIS updates.

  • Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.
  • Assist in payroll inputs such as attendance, LOPs, and variable pay details.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

Plan and execute employee engagement activities and welfare programs.

  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular interactions with employees to maintain a positive work culture.
  • 4. Performance Management
  • Support the implementation of PMS and assist teams with goal-setting and evaluations.
  • Track probation reviews, confirmations, and monthly performance updates.

5. Compliance & Statutory Support

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate for PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in audits and documentation.

6. Training & Development Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.

  • Maintain training records and effectiveness evaluations.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and HR documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment and HR operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Salary Range :Minimum Rs25000/ to Maximum 40,000/ PM
