Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Structure DevelopmentDevelop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
- Establish HR frameworks, workflows, and documentation systems.
- Align HR strategies with organizational growth objectives.
- Introduce HR metrics and reporting dashboards.
- 2. Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionDesign and implement structured hiring processes.
- Workforce planning in coordination with department heads.
- Develop employer branding strategies.
- Build talent pipelines and reduce hiring turnaround time.
- Oversee onboarding and induction programs.
- 3. Payroll & Compensation ManagementOversee payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage salary structures, CTC design, and compensation benchmarking.
- Ensure statutory deductions and compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
- Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and audits.
- 4. Compliance & Legal FrameworkEnsure adherence to all labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities and external consultants.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks.
- Implement POSH policies and workplace safety norms.
- 5. Employee Engagement & Culture BuildingDevelop engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
- Implement performance management systems (PMS).
- Organize training and development programs.
- Create grievance redressal mechanisms.
- 6. Performance Management & AppraisalsDesign structured appraisal systems.
- Develop KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Facilitate annual and mid-year reviews.
- Coach managers on performance feedback and goal setting.
- 7. HR Operations & DigitizationImplement HRMS systems for automation.
- Maintain HR databases and employee lifecycle management.
- Introduce attendance and leave management systems.
- Develop MIS reports for management review.
- Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- 8–15 years of progressive HR experience.
- Proven experience in building or restructuring HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing payroll independently.
- Hands-on approach with strong execution capability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in HRMS implementation preferred.
