Job Title: Ice Cream Scooper

Department: Operations / Store Operations

Reports To: Store Manager / Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

An Ice Cream Scooper is responsible for serving ice cream and desserts to customers while providing excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, handling cash transactions, and ensuring product quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and desserts.
• Scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, and other menu items according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the ice cream counter, display area, and equipment.
• Refill ice cream tubs, toppings, cones, and other supplies as required.
• Handle billing and cash/card transactions accurately through POS systems.
• Ensure proper storage and temperature control of ice cream products.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support opening and closing duties of the store.
• Assist in stock checks and inventory management when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in food service, café, dessert shop, or retail is preferred but not mandatory.

• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
