Interior Fit-out Supervisor

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, and design specifications.
• Monitor carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.

2. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site meetings to review project progress and resolve issues.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure materials used at site meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect finished work to maintain high-quality interior execution.

4. Material Planning & Management

• Prepare material requirement lists (MRL) and coordinate procurement with purchase teams.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.

5. Site Measurements & Billing

• Take accurate site measurements for executed work.
• Assist in preparation of RA bills, vendor bills, and client billing documentation.

6. Schedule & Progress Monitoring

• Track project timelines and ensure work completion within defined deadlines.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for management.

7. Vendor & Labour Management

• Manage and supervise site labour, carpenters, electricians, painters, and other contractors.
• Ensure workforce productivity and adherence to project schedules.

8. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure site safety standards and protocols are followed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and construction safety guidelines.

9. Drawing Interpretation

• Read and interpret interior design drawings, shop drawings, and working drawings.
• Implement site changes as per revised drawings.

10. Handover & Snagging

• Conduct final inspections and snagging checks before project handover.
• Ensure all finishing works meet client expectations and design intent.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of interior materials (plywood, laminates, veneer, gypsum, hardware, finishes).
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and interior layout plans.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Basic knowledge of BOQ, billing, and measurement sheets.
