Job Description

Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and clients to understand the project scope and requirements. Planning and Scheduling
Develop detailed work schedules and timelines for the execution of various activities.
Ensure that the project progresses according to the planned schedule.
Monitor project milestones and adjust schedules as necessary.
2. Site Supervision and Management:Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is being carried out as per approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure the quality of work at every stage of the project by conducting regular inspections and resolving any issues.
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently.
Ensure that all personnel on-site follow safety protocols and regulations.
Manage materials and resources on-site, ensuring that supplies are available as needed.
3. Coordination with Various Teams:Collaborate with designers, engineers, and consultants to clarify design specifications and requirements.
Act as the point of contact between the design team and on-site workers.
Facilitate smooth communication between the project management team and laborers or subcontractors.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:Ensure that all work adheres to the quality standards set by the client or project specifications.
Monitor finishing work, such as painting, flooring, fixtures, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work to ensure it meets the design vision.
Report any discrepancies or variations in design or execution to the project manager or design team.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:Enforce safety standards and regulations on-site to avoid accidents.
Provide safety briefings to all workers and ensure the use of safety gear.
Inspect the site regularly to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
6. Material and Resource Management:Manage the procurement and storage of materials on-site to avoid shortages or wastage.
Verify the quality and quantity of materials delivered to the site.
Keep track of material usage and ensure it aligns with the project budget.
7. Budget Management:Monitor project expenses and manage site costs to stay within the allocated budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Submit reports to the project manager on expenditure and financial forecasts.
8. Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:Address any on-site issues such as delays, technical problems, or worker conflicts.
Provide on-the-spot solutions to ensure the project remains on track.
Liaise with local authorities or suppliers to resolve logistical or regulatory issues.
9. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain daily records of site activities, including labor attendance, work progress, and material consumption.
Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
Ensure that all documentation related to inspections, permits, and approvals is up to date.
10. Client Interaction:Ensure client satisfaction by keeping them informed of progress and addressing their concerns.
Organize site visits for clients and provide updates on the work done.
Implement any changes or modifications requested by the client in a timely manner.
11. Handover and Post-Completion Tasks:Oversee the final stages of the project, including snagging (identifying defects or incomplete work).
