IT Administrator

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management

• Manage and maintain desktops, workstations, laptops, and peripherals
• Handle installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

Software & License Management

• Manage software installations and updates (CAD Software suits)
• Track and maintain software licenses and renewals
• Coordinate with vendors for license activation and support
• Ensure compliance with licensing policies

Network & Security Management

• Configure and maintain firewall devices (SonicWall, Fortigate)
• Monitor LAN/WAN connectivity and internet performance
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure secure access
• Implement basic cybersecurity practices

User Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for users
• Resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Support engineering applications and tools
• Coordinate escalations when required

Surveillance & Power Systems

• Support CCTV systems and related devices
• Maintain UPS systems and ensure power reliability

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and system administration
• Experience with firewall/network devices (SonicWall / Fortigate preferred)
• Familiarity with engineering software (SolidWorks / Autodesk preferred)
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
• Hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance skills
• Vendor coordination & license management experience
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Science
• Experience: 2–5 years in IT Support / System Administration
